The skill and expertise of skilled workers in Coahuila stand out significantly for companies exploring investment opportunities in the region. This appeal is backed by the recognition from the National Institute of Statistics and Geography (INEGI), which places Coahuila at the forefront nationally in terms of its contribution to exports in the Transportation Equipment Manufacturing sector. This privileged position is attributed to the dynamic automotive cluster rooted in the region, as well as the prominent manufacturing of railway and aerospace equipment. 

Additionally, Coahuila ranks second in terms of its contribution to the total value of exports in the country, as revealed by data collected by INEGI in its analysis of quarterly exports by the federal entity. The expansion and diversification of economic activities in Coahuila, along with the increasing arrival of companies taking advantage of its proximity to the United States to establish themselves, have driven a significant increase in exports, consolidating it in prominent positions according to INEGI reports. 

During the fourth quarter of 2023, Chihuahua, Coahuila, Nuevo León, Baja California, Guanajuato, and Tamaulipas emerged as the main contributors to the total value of exports, as revealed by figures compiled by INEGI. In parallel, the states that led in participation in exports in the Transportation Equipment Manufacturing subsector were Coahuila, Guanajuato, Nuevo León, Chihuahua, and San Luis Potosí.
