In the economic landscape projected for the year 2024, micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) in the industrial sector in Querétaro are anticipating promising growth, estimated between 5% and 10%, following the trend observed at the end of the previous year. This optimistic projection, shared by industry leaders, reflects confidence in the MSMEs’ ability to capitalize on emerging opportunities, especially those stemming from supply chain reorganization. However, it is recognized that this growth is closely linked to the sector’s ability to address key challenges, such as the shortage of skilled labor and the need to adapt to industry certification and accreditation requirements. In this regard, the importance of establishing strategic partnerships with educational institutions and government bodies to develop training programs and promote innovation in industrial processes is highlighted. Additionally, there is an emphasis on the need for MSMEs to strengthen their capabilities to expand internationally, positioning themselves as reliable and competitive suppliers in global markets. Collaboration among different actors in the business ecosystem, including industrial associations and government entities, is presented as a key element in a driving sustainable development in the industrial sector and promoting economic growth in the region. The Association of Industrial MSMEs in Querétaro comprises approximately 189 companies that supply various industries in the region.
