During the first months of 2024, there has been a significant increase in the development of industrial parks in Guadalajara, with a total sum of approximately 102,000 square meters, marking a 50% increase in industrial activity compared to the same period in 2023. This growth has facilitated the arrival of several companies establishing their production operations in Mexico, thereby making a substantial impact on the country’s supply chain (nearshoring) 

Additionally, Guadalajara recorded a total occupancy of 54,000 square meters of space by the end of the first quarter of 2024. Specifically, the logistics and household appliance sectors were the primary drivers behind the leasing of industrial parks in the region. 

In summary, there is evident solid and continuous growth in Guadalajara’s industrial parks market, generating significant interest among companies looking to establish a presence in this sector. This expansion has also led to a notable increase in the availability of industrial spaces in the city.
