In 2022, Nuevo Leon registered 4,397 million dollars (mdd) in Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) , 9.2% more compared to the 4,026 million dollars captured in 2021, according to preliminary figures from the federal Ministry of Economy .
The FDI registered in Nuevo Leon represents 12.4% of the total at the national level , which is why it is positioned as the entity that attracted the most foreign capital, after Mexico City.
The governor of the state, Samuel García Sepúlveda, highlighted that Nuevo Leon is the best place to invest and do business in Mexico, as well as being the region with the greatest demand for the arrival of FDI.
“There is a line of American, Asian, German, Swiss companies, etc. They want to come to Mexico, they trust our country, they are impressed by the workforce, by the human capital of Nuevo Leon”.
Since October 2021 and to date, 119 investment projects have been confirmed in the entity.
